Mayor Cynthia Block
Cynthia Block is the first-ever female Mayor of Saskatoon, and has promised to create a task force focused on homelessness and community safety. Mayor Block believes the city needs more enhanced and basic shelter spaces and should establish 24-hour drop-in centres.

Alyson Bear
Alyson Bear is a lawyer, mother, advocate, and motivational speaker. She is the former Vice-Chief of FSIN, the youngest woman ever elected to the role, and only the third woman in history to serve in FSIN’s executive. Alyson is from Whitecap Dakota Nation and is the first lawyer to come from her Nation. She is deeply passionate about advocating for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2S+ and addressing the ongoing violence in our communities.

Superintendent Tonya Gresty
Tonya Gresty is the first woman to be appointed to the rank of superintendent at the Saskatoon Police Service, making her the highest ranked female officer in history. High on her priority list is addressing root causes of violence, and focusing on de-escalation, crisis intervention and trauma-informed approaches to better serve victims.

Jeannie Coe
Jeannie Coe is a nurse practitioner that has worked for most of her nursing career in Canada’s north. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan and her Master of Nursing at Athabasca University. She has special interests in Mental health and addictions, harm reduction and trauma informed care.

Caitrin Hodson
Our event will be hosted and moderated by local personality and announcer Caitrin Hodson. Caitrin is a communications specialist, digital creator and former TV reporter whose work takes a specific focus on women’s empowerment, diversity and equity.
